Welcome
B & T Antiques has relocated to their new showroom in Talbot Road and opened on the 14th September. Please contact us for more details.
B & T Antiques has been in Notting Hill for over 20 years and has a loyal and cult following of private clients as well as interior designers and antique dealers.
French-born founder Bernadette Lewis introduced mirrored furniture into the UK, setting the trend for these sleek and stylish designs, which often reflect 1930s glamour. One of London’s most acclaimed and stylish antique dealers, Bernadette has been involved in the trade for more than 30 years. Her highly individual style and innate ability to find and bring an eclectic mix of designs together is what makes B & T so unique.
B & T is best known for its collection of French mirrors and Art Deco mirrored furniture, although Bernadette is just as likely to have some period English pieces. Signature designs include mirrored dressing tables, chest of drawers and side tables. She also has a new line of leather-framed mirrors.
The shop blends tradition with modernity, creating an air of cool luxury. Mirrored antique pieces sit with design classics such as Scandinavian Fifties leather chairs and choice industrial pieces. Bernadette also undertakes commissions to make and source specific furniture and objects.
Bernadette offers a very personal service and arranges antiques for clients on approval. Some opt for a period look while others blend styles mixing French mirrored furniture with glitter balls and vintage chandeliers. The shop attracts many famous devotees and most of Bernadette’s clients become regulars. And you can see why.
She also offers a wedding list service for those looking for something beautiful and unique. Guests can either buy pieces or simply make a contribution towards a gift to be chosen later.
